The 18th season schedule of Film on the Rocks has been announced by the Denver Film Society. This will include nine movie events, with each film preceded by a live concert and local comedian.

General admission tickets are $15 and go on sale Fri April 21st, so mark your calendars (exact time not stated yet). VIP Party Bus packages are $65. VIP Trading Post packages are $50. See package examples here for Superbad.

For all Film on the Rocks events doors open at 6:30 PM, and bands begin playing at 7:00 PM. Tailgating is also a really fun way to approach this.

  2. Monday, May 22, 2017 – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
  3. Thursday, May 25, 2017 – Long Strange Trip (Premiere) Grateful Dead
  4. Monday, June 5, 2017 – Dirty Dancing
  5. Monday, June 12, 2017 – Fan Favorite Wedding Film (voting campaign to select favorite fan wedding film, cool right?)
  6. Monday, June 19, 2017 – The Fifth Element
  7. Monday, July 17, 2017 – The Lego Movie
  8. Thursday, July 20, 2017 – Priscilla Queen of the Desert (everyones favorite drag show from down under)
  9. Monday Sept 11, 2017 – Twister

All in all the lineup looks pretty good. Superbad, Roque One, Dirty Dancing, and Lego Movie are the real headliners here. Twister seems suspect. It’s always a good time though, so pick a few and get some tickets!
